You are welcome to bring your timepiece to us for assessment. See below for our areas of expertise.
Due to the complexity and age of most items we are asked to restore, we are unable to provide any estimate for service without seeing your item in person.
If your clock has not been serviced/restored by a competent repairer that past 10-15 years it will require a restoration. most mechanical watches require servicing every 6-8 years (automatic watches can have a shorter service interval).
No modern cuckoo clocks accepted at present.

We celebrated our 40th Birthday (20th July 2020). It was a muted celebration, but we will be around for many years to come.

Who we are
Since its establishment in 1980 Canterbury Clocks and Watches has developed a reputation for being one of Australia’s foremost horological centres specialising in restoration of timepieces.
We at Canterbury Clocks and Watches maintain a philosophy of performing all restoration work in a manner sympathetic to the originality of the clock or watch. In our superbly equipped workshop we can undertake the most challenging restoration or repair to the highest standard. Our clock and watchmakers possess between them a combined experience of over 60 years in the horological trade.
